Art-Icon is a new non-profit organization dedicated to discovering new talents and showcasing them to the professional community through exhibitions and a printed catalog. Their mission is to foster connections between emerging artists and established figures in the art world (Source: Art-Icon).
Sex and Politics 2025: according to Art-Icon, “the exhibition explores how sexuality functions as a political arena — not only through representation, desire, and freedom, but also in relation to social control, commodification, and ideological power. Photography, as a medium of exposure and circulation of images, plays a crucial role in shaping the public imagination of sexuality”. The artist and curator Danila Tkachenko, and his team, chose my picture Fanny as a ghost as one of the pictures that will be exhibited.
I took this picture at an artist workshop in Hungary back in 2013. Click here for more information.
